Return to your lodge on the crater rim for a relaxing evening with panoramic views.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Full-day crater exploration, including a guided tour to track rhinos and learn about the diverse ecosystems within the crater. You may also visit a Maasai village to experience the culture and traditions of the indigenous people.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Highlands & Departure – Morning exploration of the Ngorongoro Highlands with a visit to local coffee estates or scenic hikes. Afterward, return to Arusha for departure or onward travel.
Best Time to Visit:
June to October for optimal wildlife viewing, as the dry season brings animals to the crater floor. January to March is ideal for witnessing the calving season, when many animals give birth, attracting predators.
