Your local guide picks you up for a scenic 30-minute drive to Materuni village, nestled in the lush foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.
09:00 AM – Waterfall Hike (Approx. 45 mins)
Trek through coffee and banana plantations, crossing small streams and soaking in panoramic views until you reach the stunning Materuni Waterfall—over 80 meters tall.
11:00 AM – Coffee Experience
Learn how to roast, grind, and brew coffee the traditional Chagga way—from bean to cup. You’ll also join in local singing and dancing during the roasting process.
01:00 PM – Local Lunch in the Village
Enjoy a freshly prepared Chagga meal made from local organic ingredients.
02:30 PM – Return Drive to Moshi or Optional Local Activities
You can head back or opt for a visit to nearby caves or hot springs (extra charge).
04:00 PM – Drop-off at Hotel in Moshi
